Canvas

Open Canvas from the side rail. The bar at the top of the Canvas switches between its tabs:

• Agent: this agent’s own dashboard, described below.
• Team, or one tab per department when your agents are organised into departments: the wider picture across them.
• Tabs your agent has written for you. A tab with a lock is private: only you can see it.

Waiting on you sits at the top when the agent needs something from you, such as access to an app. Each item says what it unlocks. Answer it, or press Not yet and the agent plans around it for now.

Below it, Needs attention lists approvals and other items, split into For you and For the team. When nothing is pending, you see All clear instead. See Inbox and approvals.

The Agent tab then shows the agent’s day:

• In progress: the tasks running now.
• Coming up: automations due to run soon, with the time.
• Recently finished: runs that finished in the last day.
• Automations reported: automation runs that reported since you last opened them. Press Open results to read one; a failed run is marked Failed.

Under Working life, tiles count the agent’s work: Tasks, Memories kept, Todos and Automations. Click a tile to see what is behind the number: the memories the agent has kept, your open todos, or the Automations tab.

Press + at the end of the tab bar (Add a tab: ask your agent to design one with you). The Canvas chat opens and asks the agent to build a new tab with you: it asks what the tab should show, builds it, and refines it until you say it looks good. You can also just ask in the Canvas chat: “Add a tab with my open todos and this week’s automations.”

A tab is made of sections and cards. A card can show a number, a list, a chart, some text the agent writes, a button, or one of the agent’s own files. The live figures a card can show come from your agent’s own data:

• its open todos;
• what is waiting on you;
• your automations and how many are on;
• what it remembers;
• its daily activity, as a chart;
• counts of its tasks, files and memories.

The Agent tab reflects what your agent actually does, so you shape it by telling the agent what matters, as its Make this canvas yours panel says: say what to monitor, say what to remember, ask it to write itself a skill for work you repeat, and fill in your profile under Account.
